Introducing the Raid Canopy

There is no more practical solution than an aluminium canopy for your Ute.
Installing a canopy onto your Ute provides a huge improvement in practicality, security, and storage capacity. Ute canopies allow you a place to securely store your tools, camping, and touring gear, they also provide shelter from the sun and rain, and most obviously increase your storage capacity, not just of the tub but also your roof load.


Light, not lightweight

The Raid Canopy, by IRONMAN 4X4, is manufactured from aluminium offering a substantial weight saving, even over fiberglass and ABS alternatives. While light in weight (at approximately 65kg) the Raid Canopy has a substantial load rating of 180kg dynamic* and 350kg static.
The Raid Canopy has been independently tested, and was proven to be able to withstand over 2-tonne loaded to it’s roof in a static test, while it also survived a 1.4t pull test and a corrugation test which delivered 1.6million oscillations in just 16 hours, all with a loaded roof of tent, awning & ensuite.

Particularly Plus

The aluminium structural design also offers improved access to your tub through the wide, and tall canopy windows. Measuring 1100mm wide and almost 400mm tall, the side access windows make living with your Ute a breeze. Built into the roof of the Raid canopy are integrated roof rails, allowing for easy installation of cross bars to suit your needs from transporting timber to mounting your rooftop tent and awning.

Designed to let you explore, not let you down

We’ve gone the extra mile in engineering and developing the Raid Canopy. Each Raid Canopy is designed with an integrated tub-strengthening bracket which is designed specifically to suit your Ute. The brackets utilize existing structural points in the canopy to bold directly into and provide a seamless integration between canopy and tub. Looking inside the canopy you’ll discover significant structural bracing along the sills and throughout the pillars - a design unmatched in this space. Additionally the little things, such as the wide spreader plates which join the canopy panels firmly together for a robust and weatherproof seal.

Made to tour & to trade

The Raid Canopy features many inclusion which will help trades and tourers alike. Integrated roof rails for simplicity in roof setups, incorporated pressure vent to minimize dust ingress, twin-gas assist struts in each window and door for hassle-free access, captive nutserts throughout for internal accessory fitment, pre-established 12v wiring routes with built-in cable tie provisions. *Always refer to the manufacturer's tub load rating for vehicle specific limits.

Accessorize it

The Raid Canopy has a number of accessories available to make the solution just right. From security panels which double as internal storage frames, to roof crossbars, dog port windows, and inbuilt cupboards. Be sure to check out the full range to get your setup right.
